About Me
Before becoming an educator, I spent 18 years in quality assurance management in the chemical industry. As a leader spearheading ISO 9000 implementation, I offered robust training for teams - building skills in communication, conflict resolution, data analysis, negotiation, and teamwork. Seeing teammates blossom through knowledge-sharing ignited my passion for empowering others through education.
In 1995, I brought this passion to workers laid off by manufacturing plant closures - teaching crucial computer and software skills to help them transition. Witnessing technology's power to transform lives cemented my calling.
For the next 18 years, I shared my love of technology with high school students - teaching Computer Science, Programming, and Robotics. My guidance inspired young minds to build, create, and innovate. I also trained fellow teachers on integrating technology via professional development. My commitment to spreading technological literacy extended to students and peers alike.
